Sweet Anticipation

It's ridiculous how excited I am for this movie. The books were amazing, I flew through all three in a few days- thankful that I heard about them late. (I read the first two just a month or two before the third one came out.)

So naturally I was thrilled to hear it was picked up for the big screen.... until I remembered all the other books I loved that Hollywood flushed down the toilet. Nonetheless, the idea of seeing one of my favorite stories of all time in movie form is awesome!

Here's the video they aired at the VMA's.

  1. Hi Megan. I'm stopping by from the Campaign. Glad I did or I wouldn't have known the trailer for the Hunger Games was out. Looks like it's going to be a great movie!

I'm in your paranormal romance group. It's nice to meet you.

  3. I really want to see this, too. I just hope they do it justice. It is such a dark book with very powerful themes.

    I can hope...

But then I remember what happened to the Golden Compass film. They didn't even make a sequel.

    Alas....

  6. I'm trying to put to rest those same movie-gremlin fears. Hollywood is just so bad at getting things right nowadays.

    But we can hope.

  8. I just don't understand how they manage to screw everything up so badly. I mean it should be easy, going from book to movie, especially because they're usually working with a bestseller! All they have to do is take the main parts, and put them in places they actually happened in the books. But they have to go and be all CREATIVE and drive me completely nuts.

Woah, sorta ranted there for a second. Sorry guys.

  9. I'm late to the game on this one, as I've just recently read the first book. However, I have the other two ready to go and hope to have them finished soon. School started again though and that comes with ALL types of things to read. lol
